Functional Safety Training

Özlem Academy Training and Consulting Inc. offers comprehensive Functional Safety Training for process industries within the scope of IEC 61508 and IEC 61511 standards.

This training aims to provide technical knowledge on the proper management, verification, and documentation of Safety Integrity Level (SIL) throughout the lifecycle of safety instrumented systems (SIS).

Participants will learn about functional safety concepts, SIL determination, SIL verification and validation, SRS (Safety Requirement Specification) preparation, risk mitigation objectives, and maintenance and test interval management through theoretical and practical examples.

The training content is fully compliant with IEC 61508 (for general industrial systems) and IEC 61511 (for process industries) standards.

By the end of the program, participants will be able to interpret the SIL calculation logic, the functional safety lifecycle, and the performance criteria of the SIS system.

All participants will receive a certificate of participation and a PDF of the training presentation.
